Hay Group: Infographics and social media

Challenge
Hay Group’s reputation for research and thought leadershiplies at the heart of its brand. The management consultancy’s Best Companies forLeadership survey is proof that this reputation is deserved.
The annual unveiling of the survey results generatesdiscussions that can open up selling opportunities. Hay Group needed to makethe most of this.
Our response
We designed a set of infographics illustrating thesurvey’s key themes, and a three-minute animation summarising the results. Combiningbranded imagery with punchy, insightful copy, our materials were intended toprovoke sharing and discussion, and to drive people to explore the full surveyreport.
A targeted email marketing campaign promoted theinfographics and animation to influential bloggers, businesses and businessleaders around the globe. We used online and social media to start, monitor andmaintain the conversation.
Results
Over 3,600 companies took part in the survey – beating HayGroup’s target by 50%.
The survey results attracted global press coverage. Thisincreased brand visibility led to 325 new business meetings and helped toestablish new partnerships, especially in South America,with industry giants like Cisco.
As a result, Hay Group invited us back to work on theirFortune 100 and Leadership 2030 Megatrend campaigns.
